Recording with SimpleSound

  1. Open SimpleSound.

    2. SimpleSound is usually found in the Apple Menu.
    If the Apple Menu has been rearranged, do a find for "SimpleSound."
    1. File -> New

    2. To record a new sound:
      1. Click on the "Record" button to start recording.

      2. Speak into the microphone


        3. Check the "Speaker" to see if sound is going into the computer by talking into the microphone and seeing if any lines are emitted from the Speaker icon. No lines means no input.


         

      3. Click "Stop" when finished recording
      4. Click on "Play" to hear the recording
      5. Click on "Save"

      6. Give the sound a name and remember where it is saved.
